the other day on my friends comp i was playng single player it was 1 vs 5 i think(on custom mode) and i had 1 unit of spartans 4 archers and a cav unit. i set it to hard mode and began the battle on londinium and i set them up as follows(facing the nearest army(after using the cheat jericho to funnel them in and to make the battle go faster)
first row is the hoplites then comes the archersbehind the spartans then th cav behind them and most of the time the enemy drop the equipment and rushes in the hole in the wall. then they crash into the spear and die from reign of arrows. i defeated almost 1k troops that day, only by luck, the enemytried to flank but thank god i had cav to counter. anyways. I am bored. PM me or go to xfire or do something to get my attention...i wanna duel someone on small or normal unit sizes

Good battle by the sounds of it guilded monkey! Sounds like a very pitched battle. That is some very good commanding I must admit!!
On hard it would've been quite difficult to do that. Very Hard would be commendable but I must give you a comment on that! So some good work
A good bet would be to try it online. Even better me and you can try or with one of the WOT's see if we have the same amount of troops as the enemy and you with the same see who wins

It was only sheer luck, the kind were you go 'how did I do that, that was cool' ya kno. I honestly wanted to just see how many i could kill before i died. i didnt mean to kill almost all of them. maybe i can show you a smaller version of the formation i used to defeat them all.
