There, i said it!
Im annoyed, fellow WOTs. Im annoyed because since my broadband was cut off, over a dispute on fixing my modem, the company i was with blacklisted me so no other suppliers would touch me.
I've managed to find a company willing to accept my position on why i wouldnt pay, and willing to give me a connection.
This is great, especially as if this falls through im as good as done. If all is well, I SHOULD BE BACK BY MID APRIL!! I hope this is so, and not another false hope giving situation.
My copy of ETW arrived a few weeks ago, Special Forces Addition, and i havnt been able to get on STEAM and register it.
I carried my CPU to a friends to do this, add me as a friend on STEAM, im ConfusedJohnny. Problem is my ETW doesnt wanna work on single player, so i got the game staring me in the face and i cant play it.
Fear not though, my determination to return is unbreakable, my will is iron guarded, I WILL BE RETURNING!!!
People, please, im bored. Lemme know how your all getting on, families, education, work, life, everything, and most importantly, any ideas as to why my ETW dont work on single player??!
I hope so much to be amongst you all again soon, to come home to Troy and fight with my brethren.

Hail Johnny! It seems like you are stressed mate so I won't ask how you are.
Just relax it should be okay. If it falls through perhaps you should seek legal advice? That is because your rights as a consumer have been breached and disrespected. As far as Australian Law goes your right as a consumer lets you choose if you pay or not, especially if they do not deliver, and in our law if you have been ill-treated or such you can even complain to various commissions and departments, even take court action.
With regards to your problem Johnny of your Empire: Total War I don't know. What exactly is wrong? If its not working maybe its the graphics or settings? If it doesn't even start because of steam settings you might want to check them. If all else fails you should e-mail steam, or one of us will regarding your problem.
Because by the sounds of things you've been mistreated. I'll have to research UK law regarding the rights to a consumer. Other then that I am well, the clan is well many of us are transitioning to Empire: Total War and having fun! We got some new members which is smashing, and still got our establishments on Rome and MTW2. Im at university studying 54 hours a week, so its pretty hardcore Its very interesting though, doing Medieval Europe, Southeast Asia in Focus, Human Rights - International and Intermediate French.
Family is good, everythings cool My friends are awesome, we're all just bunkering down to study. But due to all that not much gaming... Only really on Saturdays and Fridays.

Thanks for your words, it just sometimes gets annoying when i feel im "out of the loop", like i should be doing more.
I know no-one within WOT is thinking that, but its how i feel, i should be doing more for the clan during this time of transition.
I found out what the problem with ETW was, which is good news, fixing it presents bad news.
Basically my hard drive and my OS had packed in, and i had to have a new hard drive installed. My one was so damaged that any hope of retrieval of files was impossible, so i lost everything.
All my screenies, all my programs, all gone. My CPU was returned to me as if i'd just bought it brand new. This annoys me as now the maps for RTW i had made are lost, my full FRAPS is lost, my X-FIRE and TS details are all gone as well.
Im going to remake the maps for RTW, i found some truly awesome locations, so i'll find them again.
X-FIRE, TS and all them things i will sort out once my internet is back on, which is still all systems go. I've been told the engineer will be with me between the 7th and the 21st of April, which is a lot of scope but as long as it gets done i'll be happy.
I also managed to carry my cpu to my friends again and re-installed steam (this is where i am now, sending this message , so hopefully i will have ETW working tonight!!
All the best to all of you, i know RATH doesnt visit the castle much but if anyone see's him online, tell him i said "hi" and that i hope all is well.
To our new recruits, soon i will meet you, something i cant wait to do. If you look around the castle you'll see im everywhere, talking to everyone about everything, so any questions about anything, please dont hesitate to ask.
So for now i must again leave, eagerly anticipating the day i can return. When C.J returns its gonna be manic, i gotta whole lotta catchin up to do, and a whole lotta training i need to get me back to an acceptable level of tactics and implementing them.

I'm so sorry to hear this mate, damn steam, a lot of people have been having problems playing ETW with it. I hope your new internet company comes through for you and then you can join us again!
For me, I'm doing quite well. Year 10 of highschool, forging lots of new friendships with people and withstanding against my nemesis, Ms. Mac Farlane, our new English teacher.
