I bring bad news, im going to be inactive for a while!
My modem has gone haywire, and my broadband supplier reckons it will take upto 4 weeks to send me a new one!
Im hoping it wont be as long, especially considering teh situations we find WOT involved in. I have moderate internet access at my little sisters, so i will sign in on here from time to time whilst waiting for my new modem, any news or stuff just pm me here, i cant download XFire here though, my sister wont let me!
So, unfortunately, im going to be away for a while! Whilst gone though, im probably going to make a V1.2 of the battle maps, include some new locations etc.
Hope to be back in the fray again soon!!

Well boredom has kicked in, so far i've made another 14 Maps to add to the list, now im thinking of making some Historical Battles of my own to let people download.
Campaign is getting boring now as well, man i miss being online.
Hopefully i get some good luck and the problem is sorted quickly so i can get back.

We indeed agree with you wholehearedly! It is unfortunate to hear that you are bored Try doing something crazy with the factions that you havn't tried yet. When I used to have dial-up, I used to do very hard and use a civilisation I havn't used before.
Then what you try to do is make a normal army on the other side (example being a normal rome army) and try to beat it. Yes it will be easy but it sometimes shows you some weaknesses

Hmmm, yeah, i think thats gonna be my next thing to do!
All my campaigns are really boring now, so the idea of putting myself at a huge disadvantage should keep me going for a bit.
So hows things with everyone?
Hopefully shouldnt be long and i'll return, probably rusty as hell an needing some training.
Oh yeah, i had to stop on the maps because i made another 20+, so its starting to get too many. There some new types of map as well, like bridge/river battles, and i found a few that have probably the most challenging terrain ever.

It goes from bad to worse, my friends!!
The chances of me being back before the new year are slim, very slim.
This is because my Broadband supplier has tried billing me for the past few weeks, even though i have had no broadband. I contacted them and they said it doesnt matter, until there engineer confirms its not my fault why modem broke, i still have to pay monthly subscription.
I told them this is an outrage, and it isnt going to happen, until my modem is repaired or they send me a new one by post, i am making no payments. Quite simply im not paying for a service i havnt received.
There answer to this was unless i keep upto date on my payments, there not obliged to send out an engineer or a new modem. So we are at a deadlock. They are taalking about im in breach of contract and blah blah blah, but basically it means they wont be sortingmy broadband out till i pay them for nothing.
This i am not doing so its looking like until i have time to look for a new supplier im going to be very inactive, and with Xmas round the corner, plus im really busy with work an stuff, it looks like i might not even be around for the launch of ETW.
I'll pop back from time to time, and the first opportunity i get to sort out my internet connection i'll do it, so dont worry, ole C.J will be back, just maybe a bit later than i would have liked.

That is unfortunate mate It seems they are in break of obligation as a supplier. It is legally ludicrous if you are not being provided a service that you have signed on a contract that they threaten that you are breaking the contract. If it goes to court you would most likely win because they broke the contract because they did not provide you with a service, and you merely did not pay because of that break of contract.
Thus its ludicrous, but I am positive mate that you will find an ISP in the near future It shouldn't be that hard to find one, and if so I am sure that you will be on before the new years, and if not I am certain before ETW.

Just popping back to see how you all are. Man, im bored, time seems to go slower these days.
I looked into what you said Vlad, indeed you are right, i can take them to court, but it will cost me a lot more than the monthly charge the company is asking for.
Im still not paying it. Im looking into getting a chipped modem, so i never have to pay a dodgy supplier again. The company are adamant they not sending an engineer or new modem, so the standoff continues.
Someone, Vlad, Mehmet, pls, send me a pm bringing me upto speed on the GoTW situation and other things. I cant even get to our allies forums coz i not got the links, and i cant remember my log in.
I hope your all well, my brothers. C.J is doing good. Before you know it i'll be back, then we have some real fun. I might not post for a few weeks, but have no fear, i'll keep popping back as and when i can, im defo NOT leaving or going complete inactive.

Just seeing how everyone is?
Im pretty good, rly busy with work and stuff! Its not concrete yet, but, i think i will be back online by the 2nd week in February!
Then i will be running a 50mb Unlimited Fibre Optic Connection, so i cant wait to get back and start hosting some battles.
The update to the map pack is ready, i've basically doubled the amount of Maps. The new maps are also more varying in terrain and topography, plus as with the first map pack there is 1 or 2 maps that are for "fun" battles.
Happy Belated Birthday to Emporer Vladimir as well!!
As soon as i know a concrete date of when my internet back up and running, i will let you all know!
