Hail both WOT allies, friends and soldiers themselves!!

This is a post on how to make your Rome:Total War play the Multiplayer campaign.

The first step in this process is of course to install Rome: Total War and BI and whatever else, patch it up (if it is just RTW), then continue with the process. Monty Python Style Charge!

The first thing to do is to install the "Vanilla Mod" ( http://www.megaupload.com/?d=VK7Q49N4). This mod basically enables you to play civilisations in the Imperial Campaign that once you couldn't have. This step is extremely important because if you DO NOT download the mod and install it, when you try and play mp Campaign it will not work.

Once the mod is installed, you then have to get this file here, which is the data that lets you switch to the next civilisation which then lets you send it to the next player, therefore continuing the Multiplayer campaign.

Click to download file

Once you have those files, copy and paste them all in the directories the files have established. Be sure to copy the originals and put it in a safe location, so just incase you stuff it up you can go back and try again!!!

Once you copy and pasted all the things, backed up the originals, it is time for a test drive Poking Tongue

What?

Well basically to start the game and see for yourself how it works. This step isn't compulsory, just so you know how it works and so when you do play the multiplayer campaign you understand what to send, etc, etc. Otherwise you would be lost!

OK so you start Rome: Total War. Click "New Imperial Campaign" or just load one, doesn't matter

Then what you do is you follow these pictures, Laugh Out Loud

This is a normal Campaign as you can see. No difference at all, just that it is Britannia and that Poking Tongue

Then press F1 for the "hotkeys" screen and click on the question mark on the top right of the screen...

Then that annoying advisor comes and tells you that those things are hotkeys and they actually might help you in the campaign and the battles. No of course they won't..... Laugh Out Loud Anyways then press the "Show me how" button in order for her to show you how to use HOTkeys Poking Tongue

Once the "show me how" button is pressed, it disappears! Once you've done that you get onto the next step

You then press the "end turn" timeglass when your move is done, then it saves and your turn is OVER!!! Once this happens, you cannot keep playing it doesn't let you, the only way to play it is for it to be loaded (i.e. the next person otherwise it would be cheating) . It is saved as "QuickSave".

Then exit the game, go to "saves" in your RTW folder, and copy Quicksave, rename it if you really want to, upload it on the forums where appropriate or send it via PM or e-mail to the next person! Also follow the rules, post a mini-report on what you have done on the forums, in order of what the RULES page says http://warriorsoftroy.myfreeforum.org/about86.html.

There you have it!!! Thats how it all works. It is great to have you's play RTW Campaign, and I can't wait till it all is done and when we're playing.

Enjoy!!! Mr Party

GO WOT!!! Cheers! [WOT]{{E}}General_Vladimir Cheers! GO WOT!!!
