OK guys, i thought it would be fun for us to get a quiz going between us.

Basically, ill start off with a question on whatever topic i like. If you know the answer, post here and then add a question of your own. When your question is answered, that person will also post there own question, and so on and so on!

Thermistocles was, i believe, a General, or at least had some form of power militarily, and as he was Athenian id guess that was his allegiance!

Who commisioned Filippo Negroli to make the first "bulletproof" vest, and in what year?

Or no-one interested in a Knowledge quiz that varies so many subjects?

If no-one posts im guessing a straight up quiz dont appeal, otherwise im guessing my question is to hard so ill change it, or declare victory! Laugh Out Loud

I tried Google which sort of worked. So I'll post my half-guess answer.

Francesco Maria della Rovere commissioned the vest.

It was in 1538.

I'm guessing it failed though.

Well you see, the Russians used dogs as anti-tank weapons against the Nazi's. It was easy to strap explosives on a dog and unleash it to blow up a tank, then have the weapons. But you see the Russians were stupid, because they trained them to find food while starved under Russian Tanks, not german. Thus, the dogs blew up there own tanks xD
